Facts and circumstances of collection The Guild are collecting personal information directly from you, including your name, email address, postcode and telephone number, if you select a call back option.
Why does The Guild need to collect this information? The Guild is collecting this information to do one or more of the following:
  • Keep you up to date of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout across Australia, including vaccine booking opportunities, via phone and email.
  • To gain an understanding of your communication needs, to perform research and analysis to improve the way in which The Guild engages with you.

The Guild may also use your information for direct marketing in relation to The Guild and associated services. We use your information to promote the services and issues affecting community pharmacies across Australia, as well as keeping you up to date on services that we think will interest you. This marketing may be by email, phone, SMS, post or online.

The primary purpose for which the information is being collected The primary purpose of collecting this information is to keep you up to date on the services offered by Community Pharmacy across Australia and to assist you in accessing those services such as a COVID-19 vaccine.

The secondary purposes (if any) for which The Guild is collecting this information We may use or disclose your personal information for the purpose of marketing, informing you about our services, upcoming promotions, training and events, advocacy, or other opportunities that may interest you.

  • advising us if you receive a marketing call that you no longer wish to receive these calls; or
  • using the unsubscribe facility that we include in all of our marketing communications to opt-out of receiving those messages.

We will not disclose your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes without your consent. A third party (Curious Minds Media) has been engaged to develop the ‘Find a Pharmacy’ website and associated promotions. They handle your data for the execution of electronic direction mail activities.
What happens if The Guild doesn’t collect this information? If the Guild does not collect this information, we will not be able to provide you with the services as described above.
